  12. The Icon Program Library is arguably one of the most valuable and most
  13. underutilized resources available to Icon programmers.  One way to make
  14. it easier to use is to improve its documentation. Thanks to a standard
  15. header comment format introduced by Ralph Griswold, it is possible to
  16. extract much information automatically from the IPL source files themselves.
  17.  
  18. An example of this is a collection of IPL Web pages rooted at
  19. http://www.cs.utsa.edu/research/icon/ipl/HTML/

  21. Suggestions on improving this documentation are welcome.  The folks at
  22. Arizona have other on-line documents for IPL in the works; look forward to
  23. more and better.
